uyyy, napa kanta.. :-> hahahaha. anyway, i'm not taking the SATs anymore but really, when my friend told me about the SATs i really was excited about it and days after that, i went to the site itself to sign up too! i remembered my favorite aunt who lives in the US and i thought i could stay with her. her name is Nene (real name? Elizabeth.. ewan ko kung bakit Nene. hahaha) and really, i could, stay with her since she always wanted to "adopt me" because she never had a little girl (she calls me that). she has 2 grown up sons. the first one, JJ, was a Harvard Law School graduate who married a native american (indian) girl named Aime who's gown was designed and made by Vera Wang for their wedding. Aime is like the princess of the tribe and she doesn't look like the indian- pana type. HAHA. then after 2 years, they divorced. (sana akin na lang yung wedding gown niya.. or kahit na super tela lang or yung tag lang nung gown.. ahahaha! if i know sunog na yun eh.. habang ginagawa nila yung tribal feasts siguro "pina- apuyan" na yun don. hahahaha! while making indian sounds around the fire. wahahaha) the younger one, John, is now a doctor who is about to get married with a chinese woman named Lily who is soooo great and by the way, i really like her.. they're planning on getting married next May in Hawaii. my aunt's husband, uncle Jim Hamilton works in the World Bank, he resigned there before but the bank hired him back. he is the best uncle in the world. he even packs up my tita nene's suitcase whenever they travel. my uncle Jim's mom named Dorothy won Ms. Hershy Town Pennsylvania when she was 21. haha.
just last saturday (july 29) my mom told me the bad news.. it was the highlight of my evening and the thing is, my tita nene has cancer. adenocarcinoma of the lungs and right now, she's on her 4th stage. it wasn't a shock because she really was a chain smoker but the worst thing is, she quit smoking just this year. she was smoking without the idea that she's diagnosed with cancer already. the doctors never knew even though she goes for a check up 4 times a year and the doctors never recognized it as cancer. i was the last one in the family to know about this. it seems like they know that i might take it too hard. especially since my aunt really cares about me a lot and i do the same thing to her, too. i remembered how when she visits us here in the country, she calls me at the very day of her arrival and asks me to go to my lola's house (where she stays) for me to visit her. when i go there, she'll shout my name until i get to her. she'll hug me tight and she'll tell me to sit on her lap. while sitting on her lap, she brushes my hair with her fingers and she'll tell me that she wants to adopt me. then after some time, she'll show me what she bought for me. she gave me the best Barbie house ever. it's a Barbie Deluxe Dream House complete with an elevator and more Barbie house furnishings. she gave me the Tara Lipinski Barbie, a Princess of Russia, the Barbie my parents placed on top of my cake when i turned 7. (dunno why they did that though but it was the best birthday ever. haha. i celebrated it at Cravings Katipunan and i changed dresses for 5 times during that party! hahaha. okay so enough about my birthday..) right now, i'm planning on buying every Nike LIVESTRONG band. hahaha. eto pa eh, ang sabi baka up to May na lang yung tita ko. wow, May. so mag SATs pa ba ako kung yung inaasahan ko up to May na lang? Errrr. i really don't want her to go... paano wedding ng anak niya eh sa May yun? i know pa na there's no chance of us na makakapunta dun within this year or next year and syempre hindi na rin yun pwede bumalik dito dahil magiging super weak na siya dahil sa chemo at magpapa surgery pa siya. she said she'll fight but hello, 4th stage? :( we all know na up to 5th stage lang yung cancer of the lungs pero we're all here to support her. grabe she's the third from our family na na- diagnosed with lung cancer.. :( i haven't spoken to my tita yet about how she's doing lately but i was really crying last saturday about the news. (pwede na sa akin yung line na "watcha gonna do? drown me in your tears? <-- channing tatum from she's the man) tapos super after ko umiyak sa mom ko i went straight to my room and sumigaw ako ng sumigaw sa pillow ko. (i got that idea from Lilo and Stitch the movie... hahahaha) why was i screaming? well, i'm surely gonna miss her because i know that i'm never gonna see her ever again. i can never hug her anymore. never. :( it was 2 years ago when she and uncle Jim visited here during the holidays and it was our clan's best christmas ever. there's even a JSP clan shirt assigned to each one (mine was labelled Erose), a JSP clan golf tournament, JSP clan basketball game, badminton, poker, karaoke and swimming tournament. everything was held in Tagaytay and it was really fun! the whole floor of the hotel plus half of the floor below us was reserved for our clan and everyone was welcome to sleep in any room they wanted to be in. of course there was even a smoking room. ahem. hahaha. basta super fun tas the gift giving during the christmas day itself was held here at our house. awww, memories. (JSP stands for Jose S. Perez, he's our great grandfather "tata")
